Zantat Sdn Bhd is one of only few calcium carbonate manufacturers in Malaysia that possess limestone quarry as a source of raw material. This gives us an advantage over other manufacturers without their own quarries and we pass these advantages on to our clients.

Those who do not have their own quarry have to purchase limestone from quarry owners, which could result in inconsistent supply as well as quality. Zantat Sdn Bhd however has the option to select limestone with better whiteness. While limestone price has increased nearly 100% over the past 5 years, our products are priced within a reasonable and affordable range because we save on costs related to the need of paying a supplier.

Our 10-acre limestone quarry has an estimated limestone reserve of 4 million tonnes (above ground level). With our current monthly usage of 5000 tonnes per month, the quarry provides enough raw limestone to meet our demands for the next 66 years, with an estimated more than 4 million tonnes of reserves still present below ground level. Our quarry license expires in year 2069.
